The 295 has been deservedly the best-selling inov-8 shoe in NZ, with a huge number of runners simply replacing their 295's with another pair of 295's when they wear out.Now it has been updated.
What is the same with the facelifted model? The fantastic Roclite grip hasn't changed. It's the same sole pattern, and it is still sticky rubber, which means great rock hopping capability. And it is still built on the same endurance last, which means it is great for wider kiwi feet.
What is different? The eva layer (that's the layer that gives you the cushioning) has changed to injected (rather than blown) which means a slightly thinner layer which gives the same amount of cushioning. Which in turn means that the differential has changed and is now 6mm, rather than 9mm.
The upper: The new Roclite 295 has a completely changed upper. We expect the new upper to be harder wearing.
